Tremblant over Thanksgiving, participating and coaching at Empire
State Games, all the break through moment’s kids have had over the
years, all the races won, all the races lost, seeing racers grow and
develop.

Camps, endless runs at all different ski areas, racers exceeding

Hometown: Olean, NY
Racing Experience: 9 years on the HVST. Has competed in many
Empire Winter Games, Trophy Series, and NYS Championships.
2001 HVST Most Outstanding Skier. Best in the world when it
comes to skiing while drinking coffee. Coaching Experience and
certifications: USSA Level 100 certification and level 1 referee. Has
been coaching since 2001. Weekday coach and team strength and
conditioning coordinator. Has coached at every age level at some
point from the J1-2’s all the way through the J4-5’s. Former University
of Buffalo and St. Bonaventure University coach.
Favorite Trail: Sunrise
Past coaching highlights or memories: Seeing all of the racers hard
work pay off. The many road trips to big races. The snow tubing
parties and nicknames. Being able to coach my GS’s and GD’S. All
of the fun with Frank and the other coaches at past Slush Cups.

Racing Experience and accomplishments: Nick has 15 years racing
experience. Was a member of the NYSSRA 2000 Future Stars
Team, 2003 Junior Olympic Team, and the 2005-2006 Eastern Finals
Team. Also 2008-2009 World Hula Stretch Champion
Coaching Experience and certifications: Has four years of Coaching
Experience. Level 1 USSA Certification as well as a referee's license.

Past coaching highlights or memories: 2009 JV boys taking 8 of 10
places at peak-n-peek, getting Benny out of a speeding infraction,
HV 2009 Kandahar Domination, Ryan Duffy's amazing dance moves,
and crashing more than any other coach in 2009.

Raced at state champs at Whiteface/Gore several years
Coaching experience: Eight years as screaming eagles coach
1990-94 and 2004-07. Has spent the past two seasons as a race
coach. Has been around racing his whole life-very passionate about
the sport
Favorite trail: The least inhabited one!
Past coaching highlights: - 1991 - when Matt Kirk, a student in the
eagles was hurdled by a deer at the bottom of Crystal. My heart was
in my throat - I was 50 feet behind him.

Racing Experience and accomplishments: Raced 12 years, qualified
for the Eastern Finals at Sugar Loaf as a J1-2.
Coaching Experience: Spent the last few years coaching the Ranger
program at Holiday Valley, now back up at the training center to
keep Coach Coffee and Big Tuff in line.

Race Team. Raced in the State Championships as a J3 and J4

helping out with the Race Team. Mainly worked with Andy and the
kids during the weekday-training program.

Past coaching highlights or memories: Tommy Shantler putting on a
jump clinic outside the Training Center and beating Anya in the
Northwind Super-G.
